History

I’ve always loved reading, but have taken books for granted. Every once in a while a wonderful read  comes to an end, and only then do I think about what went into its creation.

Working on this project has certainly given me new respect for what every author faces. The writing is the fun part, almost a refuge. It’s all the rest of the pieces that make a book project such a chore.

Sure, with unlimited funds or a commission from a publishing house, all that would be different. But for a self- published project, it’s an entirely new education all in itself.

I’m quite grateful that I love learning as much as reading or this project would have been abandoned shortly after the first draft. That’s when the idea of pondering “what comes next” began to take hold.

Enjoy!
